Turns a blazer into a dress or cut a dress into a top. Putting together looks or styling has taken on a new meaning for me. Once I saw this blazer I knew exactly what I wanted to do! I rummaged through my closet found the perfect items and made this look. Pinstripe and Plaid have been making a fun comeback from the streets to the runway. So I was little more than excited when I got this navy pinstripe blazer. Add a white dress I got from Zara for $12, some white sneakers and a chain belt. A look! I call this my corporate outfit. When it’s far hot too for pants but I have a meeting and want look to professional but stylish this is my look. From a rooftop release party to being on set styling models this look is great for any setting.
Now how does one get this look? First find an oversize blazer. The key thing you’re looking for is the length. It doesn’t matter how oversize it is. The second thing you need is a belt. This will help with it being too big by cinching your waist in and giving the perfect boxy look. You can swap the white dress with a white t-shirt and shorts. An alternative way to style the blazer is just to wear it open. I usually add a white baseball cap to keep it casual.
